These provisions cover issues such as engagement, marriage, divorce, property regime, kinship, guardianship. In addition to these provisions on family law in the Turkish Civil Code, some subsidiary regulations such as the Turkish Penal Code, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, and Child Protection Law also contain special provisions on family law.
